Following their AGM, Scientists for Labour will be hosting a panel discussion on the importance of the EU for UK science, research and innovation.
Speakers for the EU meeting will include:-
Lord Julian Hunt, Emeritus Professor of Climate Modelling, Department of Earth Sciences, University College London, and Honorary Professor, Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge
Dr. Rolf Apweiler, Director of European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), Hinxton, Cambridgeshire, part of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory
Dr. Michael Galsworthy, Programme Director, Scientists for EU and science policy advisor
Dr. Sarah Main, Director, Campaign for Science and Engineering
The meeting is open to all. Simply go to the main entrance of the Houses of Parliament on the day. You may need photographic ID. Full details of which room to say you’re attending and a map can be found over at the SfL website. There are also details of the AGM for interested parties.
